Perfection Motor, a subsidiary of the Lee Group of companies, was established in partnership with FAW China. Perfection Motor was given the sole rights to market FAW heavy duty Trucks in Nigeria. Since our inception in 2013 we have made great strides in ensuring that we will be ready to serve our market by establishing our head office alongside a fully equipped workshop, parts department and not to mention an SKD assembly plant in Ikeja.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:



Job Title: HR / Admin Officer

Location: Kano
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Bridging management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues.
  • Managing the recruitment and selection process.
  • Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization.
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
  • Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs.
  • Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
  • Manage the staffing process, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring and onboarding.
  • Ensure job descriptions are up to date and compliant with all local, state and federal regulations.
  • Liaise with external partners, like insurance vendors, and ensure legal compliance
  • Create regular reports and presentations on HR metrics (e.g. turnover rates)
  • Answer employees’ queries about HR-related issues
  • Payroll computation and also assist the payroll department by providing relevant employee information
  • Arrange travel accommodations and process expense forms
  • Participate in HR projects (e.g. help organize a job fair event).
  • Ensure the organization’s compliance with local, state and federal regulations.
  • Maintain HR systems and processes.
  • Organize and maintain personnel records
  • Update internal databases
  • Prepare HR documents, like employment contracts and new hire guides
  • Revise company policies

Requirements

  • HND / B.Sc. in Human Resources or relevant field
  • 3 - 5 years of work experience
  • Proven work experience as an HR Administrator, HR Administrative Assistant or relevant role
  • Strong phone, email, and, in-person communication skills
  • HR certification is an added advantage.
  • Computer literacy (MS Office applications, in particular)
  • Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize important projects
