We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: HQ Senior Electrician, M / F

Reference: 2024-1927
Location: Amadi Base, Port Harcourt - Rivers
Contract type: Permanent Contract

Mission

• Maintain the technical availability of the electrical components of the SURFER fleet and carry out preventive and corrective maintenance, including dry dock activities to achieve this goal.

Responsibilities

• Manage preventive and corrective maintenance on all electrical components from the SURFER vessels
• Conduct a full condition survey of all the electrical components from the vessel during the dry dock and stop over period (planned maintenance)
• Create purchase requests to maintain stock at a correct level taking into consideration the different delivery times
• Carry out inventory and monthly update the list to send to his line management
• Contribute to develop the team spirit and their knowledge, promote the HSE rules
• Prepare the scope of work, detailed planning with workforce and spare parts requirements
• Manage the revision of electrical components to ensure profitability
• Monitor and report monthly the consumption of electrical components.

Qualifications, Skills and Experiences
Qualifications:

• B.Sc / HND in Electrical / Electronic Engineering

Experience:

• 8 years electrical engineering experience in the Marine industry 

Candidate criteria:

• Minimum level of education required: 3 - Bachelor's degree (3 years)
• Minimum level of experience required: 6-10 years
• Languages: English (4 - Professional ++++)
