  • Work with the Marketing Dept. to develop and execute Corporate Sales initiatives
  • The Corporate Sales Representative is responsible for creating mutually advantageous relationships with organizations to build and maintain corporate sales accounts.
Job Duties
  • Develop, build, and manage a client base of corporate accounts
  • Oversee the sales process at each stage from quote to purchasing to fulfillment and follow up
  • Work with the Marketing Dept to develop and execute Corporate Sales initiatives
  • Prospect new clients via sales calls, direct mail, email and networking events
  • Follow up on leads generated through retail stores, research and promotional events
  • Work with suppliers to secure opportunity buys and availability of products
  • Coordinate product logo placement with contractors to meet the client’s specifications
  • Analyze sales trends, track unit sales, and generate gross margin reports
  • Generate monthly budgets and sales forecasts
  • Participate in trade shows, conferences, and community events to help promote the corporate program
  • Investigate and troubleshoot customer service issues.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's Degree in any field
  • 3 - 5 years of relevant sales experience
  • Ability to work independently and without supervision.
  • Candidate MUST have experience from an Internet Service Provider or Telecoms firm.

    Job Title: Head of Sales Location: Lagos Reports to: CEO Overall Objective
  • Grow revenues and customer base and achieve the business plan.
  • Build and lead an effective sales organization.
  • Provide market insight and creativity to the Leadership team.
Role Description
  • Build and lead an effective sales organization and develop appropriate channels.
  • Manage the sales team and implement a performance management system.
  • Be a key contributor and member of the Leadership team.
  • Forecast and deliver business performance.
  • Understand the; needs of the customer, the market, the competition and the operating environment.
  • Understand the product and contribute to its continuous development.
  • Represent the company as a spokesperson, as required.
Key performance Indicators:
  • Monthly sales and revenues.
  • Contributions to the Leadership team meetings.
  • Accuracy of forecasting.
  • Number of active channel Partners.
Requirements, Experience & Qualification
  • Candidate Must have 10 years and above Sales experience from an Internet Service Provider, Telecoms, or FMCG Sector.
  • Should possess BA or B.Sc / MBA.
Person Profile:
  • Senior manager with proven experience building and growing a multichannel sales organization incl.: Channel Partners, direct sales and retail targeting the consumer and SME sectors.
  • Excellent negotiating and analytical skills and the ability to forecast.
  • Ideally, a telecommunications background with ten years in a leading sales role.
  • Possess the stature and maturity to immediately gain the respect of colleagues and business partners.
  • Ability to influence at all levels and across functions.
  • Excellent sales hiring and training skills and possess strong verbal and writing skills.
  • Ability to manage conflict with; staff and / or business partners.
  • Potential to grow into a full Sales & Marketing role (Commercial Head).
