Job Title: Head of Business Division - Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC)

Location: Abuja (FCT)

Job Description
The Head of Business Division – EPC will be responsible for the following:

  • Managing and driving all the operational aspects of the business division’s projects.
  • Developing and implementing comprehensive project and financial plans matching the strategy of the organization.
  • Overseeing the overall EPC project operation, contract management, project management, construction management including mobilization, scheduling, budgeting, procurement by cost effectiveness and resources efficiency
  • Providing expert advice on execution and on-time delivery of projects to the business division (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) – focusing on the profitable delivery of project as well as negotiate with relevant stakeholders to meet targeted performance measures and milestones
  • Identifying new potential renewable energy EPC projects in both government and private sector and prepare proposals and tenders with the aim of winning new EPC projects
  • Working closely with internal engineering, procurement, logistics and finance in preparing proposals and tenders for all EPC projects and also manage relationship with key vendors.
  • Managing communication and implementation regarding health, safety, environmental policies and ensure that all projects fully comply with all applicable HSE regulations
  • Understanding and mastering industry-related technical knowledge and political landscape to provide input to the CEO to adjust the organization’s strategy.

Candidate Profile & Competencies

  • Strong business and financial acumen
  • Good understanding of legal and regulatory landscape including environmental impact assessment
  • Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
  • Strategic and Analytical thinking skills.
  • A background in engineering and master’s degree in business administration is desirable
  • A minimum of 7 years’ experience and 3 years’ managing EPC
  • Excellent project, construction and contract management skills
  • Great relationship management skills
