Job Schedule: Full time

Job Description

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the terminals, including product receipt, storage, blending, and dispatch with adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and industry best practices.
  • Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities for terminal equipment and systems
  • Liaise and coordinate with external service providers and contractors to perform specialized maintenance tasks or repairs. Manage vendor contracts, negotiate service agreements, and ensure service quality
  • Provide visible leadership to various teams in the Terminal – operators, maintenance technicians, and engineers.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all maintenance and operational activities, including maintenance logs, reports, and compliance documentation
  • Implement and monitor environmental management practices to minimize the environmental impact of the terminal operations.
  • Ensure that all terminal operations and maintenance activities comply with safety regulations, environmental standards, and relevant legal requirements.
  • Conducting regular safety inspections, risks assessments, and audits
  • Develop and implement emergency response plans for terminal incidents. Conduct drills and exercises to prepare the team for potential emergencies.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline with up to 10 years of experience
  • Minimum of 2-3 years supervisory experience, preferably in a similar role
  • Membership of relevant professional association is highly desired
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.

  • Optimizing resources for terminal maintenance and operations
  • Vast understanding of terminal operations, maintenance practices, safety regulations, and industry best practices
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to assess complex terminal-related issues and develop effective solutions
