Job Description
- As our General Manager, Marketing, you will be the architect of our brand narrative and growth engine. You will lead a high-performing marketing team, developing and executing data-driven marketing campaigns across all channels, managing our brand presence, and driving customer acquisition and retention initiatives.
- The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in marketing within the FinTech or related sectors, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of delivering impactful marketing campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement a robust marketing strategy that supports the company’s growth objectives and enhances brand awareness.
- Oversee market research and analysis to identify opportunities, trends, and customer insights.
- Lead the development and execution of go-to-market (GTM) strategies for new products and features.
- Foster a data-driven marketing culture, leveraging analytics to measure campaign performance and identify areas for improvement.
Brand Management:
- Manage and evolve the company’s brand identity, ensuring consistent messaging across all channels.
- Lead the development of compelling brand stories and creative marketing campaigns.
Public Relations and Communications:
- Develop and manage public relations strategies to enhance the company’s reputation and visibility.
- Act as a spokesperson for the company, representing it at industry events and media engagements.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing team.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative culture within the marketing department.
Digital Marketing:
- Drive the company’s digital marketing efforts, including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and content marketing.
- Optimize online presence and engagement through data-driven strategies.
Customer Acquisition and Retention:
- Develop and execute strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
- Collaborate with product and sales teams to enhance customer experience and loyalty.
Advertising and Promotions:
- Plan and manage advertising campaigns across various media channels.
- Oversee the creation of promotional materials, including brochures, videos, and online content.
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- MBA or other relevant advanced degree is highly preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within the FinTech, financial services, or technology sectors.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies and campaigns.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams.
- Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box.
- In-depth knowledge of digital marketing channels and tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
