Job Title: Front Desk Receptionist

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Brief

  • We are searching for a Front Desk Receptionist with a high level of integrity to be responsible for administrative tasks such as greeting clients and visitors to our office.
  • You will be in charge of giving clients directions to various parts of the office, contacting employees regarding visitors, answering phone calls, taking messages, and sorting and distributing mail.
  • As the first person of contact in the office, the ideal candidate must be able to make an excellent first impression of the organisation.

Job Responsibilities

  • Greet clients and visitors with a positive, helpful attitude.
  • Check-in visitors and direct or escort them to their destinations.
  • Schedule appointments.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Contribute positively as part of a team and help with various required tasks.
  • Helped maintain workplace security by administering visitor logs.
  • Answer phones in a professional manner, and routing calls as necessary.
  • Enter customer information into the organization's database.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence.
  • Prepare meetings and training rooms.
  • Sort and distribute mail.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess a minimum of an OND.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience
  • Experience with administrative and clerical procedures.
  • Adept at using computers.
  • Good organisational skill.
  • Prior experience as a receptionist or in a related field.
  • Consistent, professional dressing, and manner.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Good time management skills.
