Job Title: Front Desk Officer

Job Summary

  • As a Front Desk Officer at StarNet Innovations Limited, you will be the face and voice of the company, responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support.
  • You will play a crucial role in ensuring that visitors and clients have a positive experience while maintaining an organized and efficient office environment.
  • The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and a proactive approach to handling various tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Welcoming Visitors and Clients: Greet all visitors and clients warmly and professionally, ensuring they feel welcome and valued.
  • Visitor Log Maintenance: Keep an accurate record of visitors, ensuring their details are properly logged for security and reference purposes.
  • Assisting in Event Coordination: Support the organization and coordination of company events and meetings.
  • Handling Security Procedures: Implement security procedures by issuing visitor badges, verifying identification, and ensuring the safety of employees and visitors.
  • Answering Inquiries: Handle incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate personnel. Address inquiries and provide accurate information about the company and its services.
  • Managing Reception Area: Keep the reception area tidy and presentable, making sure it reflects a professional image at all times.
  • Scheduling Appointments: Coordinate and manage appointment schedules for meetings with clients, staff, and management.
  • Mail and Email Handling: Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and emails promptly to the respective recipients.
  • Administrative Support: Assist various departments with administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and document preparation.
  • Office Supplies Management: Monitor and maintain office supplies, ensuring availability for all departments.

Requirements

  • Education: A minimum of First Degree or equivalent is required. Additional education or certifications in customer service or related fields is a plus.
  • Experience: Previous experience as a front desk officer or in customer service roles is preferred but not mandatory. Fresh graduates with relevant skills and a passion for providing exceptional service will also be considered.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are essential.
  • Professionalism: A professional appearance, demeanor, and the ability to maintain confidentiality are critical.
  • Customer Service Orientation: A strong commitment to delivering outstanding customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Organizational Skills: The ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
  • Computer Proficiency: Familiarity with basic computer applications and office software.

Salary
N40,000 Monthly.
