Job Title: Fleet Officer - West & East

Description

• Lead team of delivery officers, responsible for fleet coordination, supporting the drivers, and oversight of asset management and inventory control while generating varied data for decision making.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage Delivery Officers to ensure adherence to schedules, and standard practice, and process trip data.
• Monitor Breakages and Fuel Overages.
• Safety champion: accident reduction through strong drivers’ engagement and pep talks.
• Generation of varied data as required for reporting purposes.
• Optimization of Mileage.
• Ensure truck availability for client usage.
• Manage maintenance and tyre costs.

Qualifications and Key Competencies

• B.Sc. Degree / HND in Social Science or any related field
• Minimum of 3 years’ cognate experience.
• Ability to demonstrate good Emotional Intelligence
• Safety knowledge
• Good knowledge of federal, state and city laws, statutes and ordinances.
• Leadership, Negotiation, and Analytical Skills
• Proficiency in the use of spreadsheet (MS Excel) and strong in numbers
• Strong communication and Interpersonal Skills
