Job Title: Fleet Officer

Locations: Calabar - Cross River and Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Overview

  • The Fleet Supervisor is responsible for the management and supervision of all activities related to the organization's fleet of vehicles.
  • This includes overseeing vehicle maintenance, scheduling repairs, managing drivers, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and optimizing fleet operations for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Duties and Responsibilities
Fleet Management:

  • Oversee the maintenance, repair, and servicing of all vehicles in the fleet.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure the reliability and safety of fleet vehicles.
  • Monitor vehicle usage and fuel consumption to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers for vehicle repairs and maintenance.

Driver Management:

  • In collaboration with HR depart recruit, train, and supervise drivers to ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
  • Conduct driver performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching as needed.
  • Develop and enforce driver schedules to ensure timely delivery of goods or services.

Regulatory Compliance:

  • Stay current with local, state, and federal regulations governing fleet operations, including safety and environmental standards.
  • Ensure that all vehicles and drivers comply with applicable regulations and licensing requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to vehicle inspections, registrations, and permits.

Safety and Risk Management:

  • Develop and enforce safety policies and procedures for fleet operations.
  • Conduct regular safety training sessions for drivers and other fleet personnel.
  • Investigate accidents and incidents involving fleet vehicles and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Inventory and Logistics:

  • Monitor inventory levels of spare parts, fuel, and other supplies necessary for fleet operations.
  • Coordinate with logistics and procurement teams to ensure timely availability of necessary supplies.
  • Implement inventory management systems to track and manage fleet-related expenses.

Qualification

  • 3 years of work experience.

Salary
N100,000 - N150,000 Monthly.
