Job Title: Fleet Accountant / Data Analyst

Locations: Lagos

Job Description

  • The Fleet Accountant Data / Analyst at Danco Petroleum will be responsible for providing management with accurate and timely financial information derived from daily bookkeeping and conducting thorough analysis to support business decision-making.
  • The incumbent will oversee the daily financial operations of the fleet, manage impress and other financial records, calculate driver salary tax and pension, allocate costs to the fleet, and prepare financial statements.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and generate financial statements for management review and analysis.
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis to provide insights and recommendations for business decision-making.
  • Maintain accurate daily bookkeeping records of fleet operations and income.
  • Manage and maintain impress and other financial records related to fleet operations.
  • Calculate driver salary tax and pension deductions in compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Allocate costs appropriately to the fleet, ensuring accurate financial reporting.

Requirements

  • ND, HND, or B.Sc in Accounting or a related field.
  • Experience in transport management or a similar role, with a focus on financial analysis and reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant accounting software.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial calculations and reporting.
