The Nigerian Exporters Hub (NEXHub) is a forum for different individuals to meet for the purpose of international trade. It is a dynamic electronic and digital platform that connects buyers and sellers (Exporters and importers). It also has a window for the purpose of domestic trade.

NEXHub is an offshoot of the Nigerian Export Trade House China/Far East Region. The Nigerian Export Trade House China/Far East Region is a Federal Government Initiative through the Nigerian Export Promotion Council’s Non-Oil Export Expansion Facility Program. Its vision is to bridge the trade deficits between Nigeria, China and other Far East countries. NEXHUB was established to publicize and amplify the essence of NETH China/ Far East Region.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:



Job Title: Export Clearing and Forwarding Operations & Documentation Coordinator

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage allexport customs clearance processes.
  • Manage good relationship with the relevant regulatory agencies on export including the Customs, PIAs , Shipping lines, NACCIMA, NAQS, FPIA etc.
  • Prepare and review export documentation ensuring that all documents are screened to identifydeviations if any before capture and lodgment with customs.
  • Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and coordinate effectively with shipping line codes of engagement.
  • Manage effective export forwarding logistics fromclient warehouse to port.
  • Establishing and maintaining standard work procedures with logistics partners.
  • Procurement of Marine insurance for client export cargo
  • Ensure speedy Order Executionwhich entail fast preparation and release of all cargo shipping documents including but not limited to bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin, Commercial Invoice, Phytosanitary certificate, Fumigation certificate, Packing List, Certificate of Weight and Quality.
  • Effective management of port operations including Warehousing of cargo, transloading, Container dressing, Stuffing and Gate - in

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or HND in Maritime studies or any other discipline.
  • Ability to work without supervision.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Experience with logistics software and MS Office.
  • Minimum of 5 years of cognate experience in a similar job description with Customs clearing organizations, Shipping lines , International logistics companies, or related organizations.
  • Sound knowledge of export documentation and international shipping regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and problem solving skills.

Salary

  • N150,000 - N350,000 monthly
