Enumerators / Data Collection Personnel at Lutheran World Relief


LWR is implementing a food for Progress Program to launch a cocoa productivity and marketing project in Nigeria Known as, the Traceability and Resilience in Agriculture and Cocoa Ecosystems of Nigeria (TRACE) under the sponsorship of USDA. The five-year project is to increases productivity in the cocoa value chain by applying climate smart agriculture and expands the cocoamarket through traceability back to its source.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:



Job Title: Enumerator / Data Collection Personnel

Locations: Abia, Akwa Ibom , Cross River, Ekiti, Ogun, Osun and Ondo
Employment Type: Contract

Purpose

  • Selected Enumerators/ Data Collection Personnel will be profiled and retained in LWR Nigeria database and will be regularly called upon as required for collection of project activity qualitative and quantitative data among stakeholders mostly using the Corus 3D or other delegated digital platform.
  • Retention period will be for 12 months and renewable based on performance and assessment of conduct.

Primary Responsibilities
The Enumerators/ Data Collection Personnel will:

  • Collect and enter data as required by the project at selected locations assigned to her/him.
  • Be expected to ensure completeness of all assigned questionnaire, discussion guide or data collection tool.
  • Expected to take good care of any equipment provided for the assignment and will be required to return them in the same state as they are received.
  • Submit all tools used for the data collection and entry at the end of each exercise.
  • Submit a report of the activity including details of findings as required by the supervising staff and in the format approved by the project.
  • Abide by the ethics and safeguarding policy of LWR in all their dealings while working on behalf of LWR.
  • Provide daily update while on the field through the designated channels.
  • Ensure accuracy of data collected from respondents and properly document/input such in the questionnaire or digital device.
