Job Title: Engineering Technician

Location: Ilupeju, Lagos
Job Type: Full Time

Position Summary

  • We are currently looking for a suitable candidate for the Engineering Technician (General Services) role, who will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance in maintaining the office's physical infrastructure and systems related to General Services tasks, which complement the business activities and overall maintenance functions.

A day in the Life of the Engineering Technician…

  • Managing assigned maintenance functions to achieve 100% set standard.
  • Management of Head Office Electrical, mechanical, civil, and safety equipment, ensuring prompt maintenance and repairs without any serious complaints from the company and users.
  • Ensuring high standard Maintenance and Repairs of the buildings and facilities at Head Office, company Guest House and Head Office canteen and to carry out constant checks on the maintenance levels.
  • Accountable to ensure high standards in preventive maintenance, and responsible for the timely renewal of all maintenance agreements for general services related contracts.
  • Fire prevention systems maintenance to ensure timely servicing of all fire prevention equipment including fire extinguishers, water hydrants and all safety equipment.
  • Assist to co-ordinate SHE activities in Head Office.
  • Ensure adequate stock of petrol, diesel for office use and bulk gas for staff canteen, giving proper attention and ensuring accuracy always in fuel discharge from vendors and keeping records of fuel discharge to company fuel dump.
  • Dislodgement of all septic tanks.

What Will Make You Successful?
To be successful in this position you must have;

  • Ordinary National Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, 5 O-level credits including English, Mathematics and Physics.
