Engineering Manager - ICSS at INTECH Process Automation

Job Title: Engineering Manager - ICSS

Location: Lagos Office
Position Type: Rotational with Single Status

About the Position

  • We are looking for an energized and capable professional for the role of an ICSS Engineering Manager for a project that shall be executed in Lagos Nigeria, the primary objective of an ICSS Engineering Manager is to ensure overall responsibility for the technical delivery of the project within schedule.
  • Resolves engineering problems by collecting and analyzing information; researching, analyzing, adapting, and modifying engineering techniques; recommending solutions; preparing drawings, schematics, and diagrams
  • Maintains project progress by communicating essential information; coordinating actions; obtaining expert input; reviewing open issues and action items; contributing information to team meetings and reports; and escalating project completion impediments.
  • Preparation of System Architecture consisting of Yokogawa CENTUM VP Release 6, Tricon CX/Tricon SIS, and 3rd party packages in line with TOTAL GS and project requirements
  • Preparation of Cybersecurity specifications and requirements
  • Supervises the IDC process to ensure that the engineering is done coherently
  • Review drawings, schedules, specifications, and permits to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Ensure development and quality of Project technical documentation as per MDR. These documents include but not limited to ICSS Architectures, FDS, Standard Functions, IO Lists, Network Architectures etc.
  • Leads the technical team in DVT, FAT, iFAT
  • Leads the technical coordination with OEMs
  • Leads and reviews the Functional Analysis
  • Leads the PTR3 Workshop and ensures close-out
  • Works with project engineers to review engineering documentation and software applications for compatibility with existing plant philosophy and TOTAL GS-2021
  • Communicates with the customer on all technical matters related to new I&C design and clarify the design with the customer
  • Leads the technical reviews with CPY

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s / Master's Degree in the Engineering field professional experience of 15+ years minimum
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in international projects & engineering of Instrument & Control Systems in a similar role
  • Working experience in TOTAL projects preferred.

  • Excellent verbal and written English
  • Excellent leadership skills. Proactive approach required throughout the project.
  • Good communication, presentation, persuasion, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Decision-making quality based on analysis, wisdom, experience, and judgment
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of project planning, process optimization, and information management systems. Excellent grip on project schedule, expediting measures are required.
