Pandagric Novum Limited was incorporated in 2006 under the name Novum Agric Industries. The business commenced operations in 2010, with the manufacture and distribution of commercial poultry feed, and in 2018, through a consortium of international and local investors, commenced its expansion and backward integration, which involves the expansion of its manufacturing activities, warehousing capacity and commercial farming activities.

Job Title: Engineering / Facility Manager

Location: Nigeria
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Objective

  • As the Engineering/Facility Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and improvement of our facilities, equipment, and machinery.
  • Your goal is to ensure that all assets are in optimal condition to support the achievement of company objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise maintenance and repairs of heavy & light-duty equipment, tools, and machinery.
  • Lead efforts to improve facility operations and maintenance processes.
  • Develop and oversee preventive maintenance schedules for equipment and machinery.
  • Conduct audits of company tools and equipment, ensuring timely repairs or replacements.
  • Prepare annual maintenance budgets and capital expenditure proposals.
  • Ensure compliance with occupational health & safety regulations.
  • Make recommendations for equipment acquisition to support production activities.
  • Oversee daily operations of direct and indirect reports.
  • Identify and deploy technical resources to deliver projects effectively.
  • Participate in skill enhancement programs for self and team members.
  • Make periodic presentations on maintenance activities to the CEO.
  • Collaborate with Internal Control to establish maintenance process metrics and enhance performance.
  • Maintain inventory of machinery parts, monitor purchase orders, and invoice approvals.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of best practice maintenance strategies.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the CEO.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related discipline preferred.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Hands-on work ethic with a proactive approach to tasks.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in facility and machinery management.
  • Excellent technical knowledge of equipment, machinery, and maintenance processes.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
