The Federal Civil Service Commission (FCSC) wishes to announce vacancy in the Office of the Surveyor- General of the Federation. Suitably qualified candidates with character and integrity, who are interested in pursuing a career in the Federal Civil Service are invited to apply for the post indicated below:       Job Title: Deputy Director (Surveyor) SGL 16 Location: Nigeria Qualifications

  • Applicant must possess a relevant University degree in Surveying and Geoinformatics, Land Surveying; Geodesy or Geodetic Science/Engineering; Hydrographic Surveying; Cartography; Photogrammetry; Remote Sensing; Geographic Information System (GIS); and Survey Engineering or any other equivalent qualification(s).
  • Applicant must be registeredwith the SurveyorsCouncil of Nigeria(SURCON) for a minimum of ten years post registration.  In addition, applicant must possess a minimum of twenty-two years post qualification cognate experience in the area of Geospatial Information Science and Technology (Surveying and Mapping).
      Job Title: Director (Surveyor) SGL 17 Location: Nigeria Qualifications
  • Applicant must possess a relevant University degree in Surveying and Geoinformatics:Land Surveying; Geodesy or Geodetic Science / Engineering; Hydrographic Surveying; Cartography; Photogrammetry; Remote Sensing; Geographic Information System (GIS); and Survey Engineering or any other   equivalent qualification(s).
  • Applicant must be registered with Surveyors Council of Nigeria (SURCON) for a minimum period of fourteen years post registration. In addition, applicant must possess a minimum of twenty-six years post qualification cognate experience in the area of Geospatial Information Science and Technology (Surveying and Mapping).
      Job Title: Assistant Director (Surveyor) SGL 15 Location: Nigeria Qualifications
  • Applicant must possess a relevant University degree in Surveying and Geoinformatics, Land Surveying; Geodesy or Geodetic Science/Engineering; Hydrographic Surveying; Cartography; Photogrammetry; Remote Sensing; Geographic Information System (GIS); and Survey Engineering or any other equivalent qualifications.
  • Applicant must be registered with the Surveyors Council of Nigeria (SURCON) for a minimum of six years post registration.  In addition, applicant must possess a minimum of Eighteen years post qualification cognate experience in the area of Geospatial Information Science and Technology (Surveying and Mapping).
