We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Electronic / Packing Machine Engineer - Golden Pasta

Location: Iganmu, Lagos

Purpose of the Job

• To ensure the safe, efficient maintenance, operation and running adjustments of the packing machines; vertical and horizontal.

The Job

• Manage the packing machines to ensure they can deliver designed output and attain high OEE.
• Observe, analyze and research packaging line operation to develop and implement efficient process.
•  Ensure efficient collaboration between the manufacturing systems and packaging department to ensure continuous improvement on all packing machines.
• Coordinate with plant manager and evaluate all projects and recommend ways to reduce cost and improve quality of all processes.
• Ensure compliance to packaging schedule, assign specific tasks to all employees, and monitor all packing equipment supplies.
• Implement quality control check to ensure the packaging meets environment, health, and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with quality and warehouse departments to monitor everyday output.

Qualifications

• HND / First Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
• M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, membership of NSE.

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in an FMCG or Technology industry.
• Prior experience with Stiavelli, Altopack, Rovema, Bosch will be an added advantage. 

The Person Must: 

• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Planning and organizational skills to schedule and coordinate maintenance activities.
• Project management skills to oversee maintenance projects.
