Peace Standard Pharmaceutical industries is a limited liability company duly registered with the Pharmacists’ Council of Nigeria (PCN) presently with category A line registration, that is, two product lines and above. The company is solely owned and founded by Dr. & Mrs Samuel Akinlaja and was incorporated in 2002 and started operation at its temporary site on 1st October, 2003 at no 239, Lagos road, opposite Ilorin International Airport, Ilorin with four products which are all liquid preparations and with about 20 staffs.

In the year 2008, the company moved to its ultra-modern factory permanent site which is located at Plot 3 and 5, Adewole Industrial estate, lubcon avenue, Ilorin on about fifty four (54) plots of land in Ilorin West Local Government Area of Kwara State with modern facilities installed to ensure that quality and reliable pharmaceutical products are being manufactured. There are separate factories designed for liquid and tablet production and the company has taken its time to keep improving on its infrastructures, equipment and products every now and then.

Job Title: Electrical Engineer - Automated Beverage Production Line

Location: Ilorin, Kwara

Job Description

  • We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to manage the electrical systems of our fully automated beverage production line.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, automation systems, and experience in managing and optimizing production processes.
  • The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and safety of the electrical systems in our beverage production line.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor the automated production line, including the filling, capping, labeling, and packaging machines.
  • Design, develop and oversee the installation of electrical systems and equipment for our fully automated beverage production line.
  • Develop and maintain electrical schematics, diagrams, and documentation for all electrical systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues on the production line to minimize downtime and ensure optimal production output.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs for all electrical systems to reduce the risk of equipment failure.
  • Manage and maintain an inventory of spare parts and electrical components to ensure the timely replacement of faulty equipment.
  • Train and mentor maintenance technicians and electricians to develop their skills in electrical systems and maintenance.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of the electrical systems and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Work closely with the production team to identify areas for improvement and optimize the production process.
  • Develop and implement process controls and automation systems to improve production efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Ensure that all electrical systems meet industry standards and comply with relevant safety regulations.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess relevant qualifications with at least 2 years relevant work experience.
