Job Title: Education Officer

Location: Yola, Adamawa
Employment Type: Contract

Job Description

  • The purpose of this role is to support the implementation of the EU funded project; Building Resilient Education Systems project activities in Adamawa state in North Eastern Nigeria and Sokoto state in North Western Nigeria.

Requirements

  • We are looking for a candidate with a university degree or equivalent in Education, Social Sciences, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field. 
  • The candidate should have at least 3 years of relevant experience in Education in Emergencies or similar contexts. 
  • S/he should demonstrate good knowledge and understanding of the DO NO HARM principles and established international child protection standards (especially UNCRC) with experience in participatory approaches to education, emergency preparedness, crisis/emergency relief management, or other related area. Additionally, the candidate should have previous experience directly providing services to children at risk and victims of abuse, exploitation and violence.
