Job Title: Draughtsman - Road Construction

Locations: Bayelsa & Rivers

Overview

• We are seeking a highly skilled and creative draftsman to join our dynamic team. The draftsman will play a crucial role in transforming conceptual architectural designs into detailed, technical drawings and plans.
• As a key member of our design team, you will collaborate with architects and engineers to ensure that construction projects are executed efficiently and accurately.

Job Summary

• Use computer-aided design software to create 2D and 3D technical drawings
• Calculate dimensions and material requirements
• Prepare and develop architectural construction drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, and details.
• Collaborate with architects and project managers to understand design requirements and project objectives.
• Edit technical draughts based on the recommendations of project engineers and architects
• Outline the project’s construction process on the technical drawings

Requirements

• Candidates should possess an Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Draughting, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant design software.
• Strong technical drawing skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of building codes and regulations in Nigeria.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Three years of minimum experience with AutoCAD software
• Experience with SolidWorks software preferred
• Maths skills and attention to detail
• Proven experience as a Draughtsman in an Civil works or road construction
