We are recruiting on behalf of our client to fill the position below:     Job Title: Digital Marketing Manager Location: Lagos Job Description/Responsibilities

  • Create strategies to increase online traffic to the organizations’ websites
  • Track conversions and improve the percentages and numbers
  • Design and oversee all aspects of our digital marketing department including our marketing database, email, and display advertising campaigns.
  • Regularly work with team to brainstorm new and innovative growth strategies. Manage websites (including all images, tools, and content); develop website traffic plan and create goals to meet
  • Create, maintain, and implement digital marketing and editorial calendars
  • Maintain effective, cohesive, and engaging brand messaging
  • Publish and manage blog provided by others, e-newsletter, and social media (including regular posts, news, job listings, etc.)
  • Management of analytical tools such as Google Analytics and Webmaster Tools Develop and oversee A/B testing protocols and procedures
  • Classify and index records including archiving and data protection as appropriate. Actively promote the organizations’ core values.
  • Plan and implement digital marketing campaigns, including web, SEO/SEM, email, social media and display advertising
  • Develop Social Media Marketing strategies to create a brand name in Social Media and raise awareness.
  • Continuously improve user experience on the websites (including design, content and usability)
  • Collect and evaluate customer feedback data; evaluate important metrics that affect our website traffic, service quotas, and target audience
  • Develop, monitor and manage campaign budgets.
  • Prepare accurate reports on overall performance of the marketing campaigns, donor responses; coordinate and implement marketing improvement strategies. Identify and exploit latest industry trends and technologies.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years’ strong experience in digital marketing or advertising.
  • In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms, best practices, and website analytics.
  • Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is required.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with excellent analytical abilities
  • Up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in digital marketing.
  • Demonstrable experience in leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns
  • Solid understanding of ecommerce, PPC, SEO & SEM
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
  • Strong attention to detail and an investigative nature
  • Good time management skills and the ability to prioritize
  • Ability to work as part of a team and to build strong working relationships
  • Capacity to make quick but rational decisions
  • Excellent grasp of social media and website metrics and best practices
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate Aexperiments
  • Experience with website analytics tools
  • Working knowledge of ad serving tools
  • Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns
