Job Title: Digital Marketer - Edtech

Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Contract

Background

  • Our product team is carrying out a comprehensive evaluation and enhancement of its core product/platform. We recognize the pivotal role a proficient Digital Marketer can play in ensuring the success of this endeavor.
  • The selected Digital Marketer will collaborate closely with the rest of the product development team for engagement, customer acquisition, and retention

Role Description

  • As a Digital Marketer at you will play a critical role in developing and implementing digital marketing strategies to drive user acquisition, engagement, and retention. You will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects that have a direct impact on the growth and success of our learning and assessment platform.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns across various channels, including social media, email, search engine optimization (SEO), and pay-per-click (PPC) advertising.
  • Create compelling and engaging content for digital platforms, including website, blog, social media, and email newsletters.
  • Conduct keyword research and optimize website content to improve search engine rankings and organic traffic.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, identify trends and insights, and make data-driven recommendations for optimization and improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and content, to ensure alignment and integration of marketing initiatives.
  • Manage social media accounts and communities, including content planning, posting, engagement, and analysis.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in digital marketing, and proactively identify opportunities for innovation and experimentation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in digital marketing, with a strong track record of executing successful campaigns and driving measurable results.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to inform decision-making and optimize campaign performance.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with a passion for innovation and experimentation.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic startup environment.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media management and email marketing software, Google Analytics, & SEO tools.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content for digital channels.

Salary

  • N250,000 monthly
