Data Enumerators - Outlet Survey at Malaria Consortium

We are recruiting to fill the position below:



Job Title: Data Enumerator - Outlet Survey

Locations: Edo, Gombe, Imo, Kano, Kogi and Osun
Duration: September - October 2024

Purpose of Assignment

  • Engage data enumerators that will conduct data collection using quantitative data collection tools (Questionnaires and Observational Checklists) across 6 states on the PSMA project.
  • Conduct and submit a minimum of 3 electronic responses per person daily for 12 days of the survey.
  • The data enumerators will elicit information from PPMVs and pharmacists (outlet Survey) in their selected state of resident.

Activity:

  • ACT Market Survey on the Private Sector Market Analysis (PSMA)

Scope of Work

  • Identify eligible respondents and participate in the quantitative data collection (Outlet surveys) using the Kobocollect data collection platform (already scripted into an Android device).
  • Support in qualitative data collection from PPMVs, pharmacists and key stakeholders as part of the private sector market analysis survey on antimalarial commodities in the Nigerian market.
  • Review of data for accuracy and completeness before uploading on the Kobo collect database.
  • Submission of signed timesheets.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Candidates must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree / Higher National Diploma with a minimum of 1 year of experience.
  • Residency within the state and proficiency in spoken and written English Language
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills are required.
  • Passionate and willing to contribute towards the achievement of our goals.
  • Experience of participation as a data enumerator in similar public health research
  • Experience in the use of Android devices in data collection (Kobocollect and SurveyCTO).
  • Working knowledge of the local language of the implementation state (Yoruba, Hausa, Igbo etc)
