Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Job Description
- This position is responsible for design, installation, commissioning, operation and Maintenance of electrical equipment/systems within the plant for optimum plant reliability.
- Maintenance and operation of all plant’s electrical systems.
- Maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical equipment like Power distribution panels, Transformer, motor, soft starter, VFD, relays, lighting, lightning arrestor and earthing.
- Preparation of electrical operation and maintenance procedures.
- Provision of detailed technical analysis of electrical equipment in the plant.
- Preparation of Task list, maintenance schedule for SAP PM module development.
- Forecast and prepare budget for electrical related activities i.e. maintenance, shutdown and project for consolidation into department yearly Work Program and Budget (WPB). Monitor budget utilization closely and provide justification for variance.
- Coordination with other departments for effective commissioning and troubleshooting of electrical and systems.
- Carrying out troubleshooting and condition monitoring on electrical systems to improve equipment reliability.
- Provide detailed technical support to field technicians to ensure overall plant reliability and availability.
- Identify, study, propose, and implement area for improvement (project) in the field of electrical engineering to enhance operation and improve total equipment reliability. Participate in equipment testing and trials.
- Verify, approve and follow-up all maintenance work orders and conduct post-work order verification.
- Participates in safety training, on job training, firefighting exercises and use of fire /safety equipment.
- Populate inputs into Computerized Materials and Maintenance Management System (CMMMS) to ensure data and history of equipment maintenance activities are captured accurately. Provide inputs to maintenance planner with regards to electrical maintenance activities for his consolidation into SAP PM Plan.
- Conduct on-the-job calibration training for new calibration staff. Supervise and groom Junior Electrical Engineers to develop his technical knowledge, skills and competencies in order to produce potential talent for future business needs.
- Performing routine test of continuity, insulation, resistance and high potential on both LV and HV cables, motors, transformers, generators, bus bars etc. based on best industry standard.
- Any other duty that may be assigned by Line Manager
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree/HND in Electrical/Electronic Engineering disciplines.
- Minimum of ten (10) years working experience in in electrical maintenance in oil and gas sector downstream or upstream.
- Proficient to the codes and standards in the oil and gas industry i.e. API, BS, ISO, ASME, ANSI, IEC, ISA, IEEE, etc.
- Knowledge of Maintenance Management System
- Strong communication skills with well-developed interpersonal and visible leadership capability;

Job Title: Electrical Commissioning Engineer

Job Description
- This position is responsible for design calculation report, coordinate site investigation /design, bill of quantity, material take-off (MTO), installation, commissioning and start-up of electrical equipment/systems at the customer site/filling station.
- Designing, programming, testing, installation and commissioning of electrical equipment like power distribution panels, transformer, motors, soft starter, relays, lighting, lightning arrestor and earthing.
- Prepare layout, P&ID, schematic drawing.
- Preparation of MTO and Load/Cable Schedule as well as all the equipment datasheets and specifications.
- Perform calculations such as Generator sizing, Cable sizing, UPS Battery Sizing, Lighting, Earthing, Short Circuit Analysis)
- Preparation of electrical commissioning work packages and procedures and dossiers.
- Reviews designs/technical documentation and supervise contractors and subcontractors
- Support of commissioning and start-up of an assigned scope of work including specific complex deliverables such as development of a detailed commissioning and start-up plan and schedule.
- Assist in preparation of the project execution plans, cost estimates, subcontracts requirements and risk management
- Developing detailed commissioning and start-up procedures for assigned electrical systems
- Provision of detailed technical analysis of electrical equipment in the plant.
- Supervise the Electrical Commissioning Team in meeting scheduled deadlines and ensuring the technical integrity of work carried out
- Assist Construction with inspection and Punch Lists of installation and vendor packages

- Support development of the Instrument Index and I/O List; help maintain the Instrument Index and I/O List through the course of each project phase. Addressing control equipment (Input/output (I/O) lists, networks, etc.)
- Signal assignment and JB definition, preparation of detailed documentation (diagrams, material lists, cables)
- Preparation of technical specifications and purchase material lists for control panels and various equipment

- Experience in Regasification system, LNG process/oil refinery with strong system integration abilities and background is required.
- Experience working for an OEM in providing integrated Automation systems.
- Solid knowledge in the equipment control domain including PLC based control systems and HMI programming:

- Knowledge of automation systems hardware and software for Process Control, Instrumented Safety Systems and Fire and Gas systems.
- Experience in performing on-site modifications to automation systems through site management of change.

- Formulate a plan, review and analyse preventive maintenance strategy for the rotary and static equipment in order to achieve highest efficiency of the activities for reliable and safe operation.
- Lead preparation of O&M procedures and monitor operational and maintenance procedures and practices are adhered to provide assurance.
- Developing maintenance strategies, spares, operating philosophy based on Risk & Reliability Management (RRM) principles like RCM and PM Library to improve system reliability and availability whilst optimising OPEX and increasing asset life through continuous improvement drive.
- Focal point for the Technical proactive monitoring (TPAM) of rotating equipment to predict early performance/condition drift and advise corrective actions requiring major overhaul/repair for compressors, pumps and gas engines.
- Provide input and justification for annual & long-term budget requirements for rotating machines. Monitor and control budget for rotating equipment.
- Ensure robust management of change and plant maintenance deferments related to rotating machines to assure HSSE, Process safety & reliability related risks associated with the change.
- Coordinate investigations and follow up action of major and equipment failures addressing technical, commercial and legal/insurance implications.
- Act as Technical authority for Rotating equipment discipline for Plant change proposals by reviewing them, reject the ones that do not meet the criteria and process the other for approval through the system and keep track of the approval process
- Monitor & provide input to Reliability KPIs like Mitigate Threat to availability (MTA), Deferments, RCA/Investigation & Bad actor action status & key leading and lagging indicator for Management Information Report (MIR) & Reliability forecasts.
- Promote Predictive maintenance (PdM) and condition-based maintenance (CBM) approaches through regular reviews.
- Provide specialist expertise for trouble shooting, alignment of equipment, diagnostics analysis and remedial actions for failures and breakdowns of rotating equipment and preferred rotating equipment operating philosophy, modes/regimes..
