Job Description
- The data analyst volunteer will support the SHIFT Digital team in areas of data collection, evaluation, research, narrative reports and recommendations
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in Collecting, interpreting, and summarizing data in preparation for analysis.
- Maintains appropriate records of data.
- Identify requirements and provide specialized reports and analysis.
- Identify and resolve data quality issues using appropriate analysis techniques.
- Assist in Data validation and verification.
- Build and maintain relationships with key contacts.
Job Requirements
- Ability to design and implement systems necessary to collect, maintain, and analyze data.
- Ability to gather and analyze statistical data and generate reports.
- Records maintenance skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both oral and written.
- Ability to prepare research reports and proposals.
- Ability to utilize statistical computer software.
- Proven ability to work well within a team environment without the need for close supervision.

Job Title: Field Volunteer (Supporter)
Location: Nationwide
Summary
- The field Volunteer will assist the SHIFT Nigeria Supported Candidates to oversee and coordinate political activities and campaigns as well as fundraising.
Job Responsibilities
- Build a rapport with the volunteers on behalf of the political campaign and candidate.
- Planning and executing campaigns strategies by studying demographics to best represent an area/region.
- Oversee press releases and publications to make people aware of the campaign.
- Assist in preparing campaign materials like notices, flyers, brochures.
- Monitor campaigns to see if the goals are being achieved.
- Organize events and local outreach, plan and organize outreach activities such as campaigns, public events, community meetings, etc for candidates awareness.
- Coordinate and develop campaign activities.
- Address campaign issues and concerns in a timely manner.
- Initiate media outreach communications.
- Engage actively in networking with public officials for public outreach communications.
- Participate in committee meetings and conferences.
- Monitor campaign activities closely in collaboration with Managers to ensure campaign goals.

Job Title: Volunteer Policy Analyst

Reports to: Policy Associate
Summary
- The Volunteer Policy Analyst will support the policy team to influence political and social events as well as raise public awareness on different issues.
- This would involve conducting research, analyzing policies and report on findings.
Job Responsibilities
- To assist in reviewing and evaluating policies and legislation to determine the benefits and impact of any changes that may occur.
- To liaise with stakeholders to determine the needs, concerns, and viewpoints of documents, and to understand what the goals are of a project.
- To make research and report on both quantitative and qualitative data, analyzing it for any trends or important information that may be useful in formulating new policies.
- To examine the effects of current policies.
- To formulate reports which condense and summarize information.

- The Communications Volunteer will support the communications team across a variety of areas of communications including digital, social media design and content.
Job Responsibilities
- Working as part of our communications team and supporting staffs in delivering communications.
- Support the communications team with materials for our social media platforms and assist with updating information.
- Assist in monitoring social media activities and expand online network.
- Helping to generate content for SHIFT Nigeria social media channels.
- Supporting campaigns, marketing, events and fundraising activities.

Summary
- The Administrative Assistant Volunteer will support the Administrative Executives to perform a range of administrative and office support functions for SHIFT Nigeria to facilitate the efficient operations of the organization.
Job Responsibilities
- Handle incoming phone calls and written correspondence, providing prompt responses and forwarding to appropriate staff member where necessary.
- Perform general clerical duties including photocopying, fax and mailing
- Handle requests for information and data and follow up with appropriate staff member.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments and travel arrangements for staff members.
- Manage office supply inventories and coordinate maintenance of office equipment.
- Assist the Executives in the management and administration of related contracts and project designations.
- Ensure staff are notified in a timely manner of upcoming deadlines and events.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of job descriptions and evaluations.
- Assist with volunteer and outreach coordination as required.
