We are recruiting to fill the positions below:     Job Title: Finance Manager Location: Lagos Job Description Administration/ Management:

  • Strategic analysis and supporting strategic planning.
  • Developing and managing financial systems/models that are in line with the overall strategic objective of HSH.
  • Enforcing financial strategies and regulations.
  • Processing all payments efficiently and in a timely manner.
  • Review and recommend changes to existing accounting procedures.
  • Devises and implements up-to-date or modified accounting systems to effectively provide complete and accurate records of hospital assets, liabilities and financial transactions.
  • Evaluating accounting and patient accounting procedures for quality control and to plan methods for insuring timely receipt of payments on patient accounts, reducing costs of accounting operations, and ensuring timely and quality flow of work.
People Management:
  • Managing finance, billing and accounting teams, and ensuring efficiency and accuracy in their workflows.
  • Implementing measures for staff improvement in your department.
  • Maintains adequate staff of qualified and competent personnel to satisfy departmental responsibilities.
  • Plan and effect staff payments in time.
Budgeting and Reporting:
  • Monitor and record financial transactions according to company policies and regulations.
  • Preparing hospital operating and capital budgets based on past, current and anticipated expenditures and revenues as well as interpreting financial analysis, reports, budgets, accounts, and financial statements within the required time periods.
  • Ensuring the compilation of relevant data and preparation of financial and operating reports for the effective administrative planning of hospital activities by management.
  • Preparing detailed analyses of financial statements to reflect variances in income, expenditures and capital asset values from previous periods as well as generating financial reports and statements to managers, stakeholders and board members as required.
  • Making appropriate and relevant recommendations to management concerning reduction in hospital operating costs and increasing revenues, based on knowledge of market trends, financial reports and industry operating procedure.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Work experience: at least 5 years of professional experience involving the application of the principles of finance and accounting at a managerial or supervisory level.
  • Education requirements: a degree in Accounting, BCOM / BBA /BSc (accounting or finance major) or their equivalent.
  • Full membership of internationally recognized professional accounting body (ICAN, ACA, ACCA, CFA, CIMA).
  • Principles and practices of organization, planning, records management and general administration.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft office and an accounting software.
  • Proficiency in different accounting packages like QuickBooks, sage pastel, and tally.
  • Prior knowledge and experience in the medical field is an added advantage.
      Job Title: Maintenance Officer Location: Lagos Job Description
  • Identifying and reporting maintenance issues pertaining to the hospital facility to your HOD for assignment to the appropriate maintenance officer.
  • Undertaking mechanical or electrical works assigned to you weekly and delivering them in record time.
  • Carry out routine check for faulty equipment in the hospital and ensuring they are promptly fix.
  • Responsible for installing all mechanical or electrical appliances or equipment in the hospital.
  • Preparing and submitting vouchers after approval from the HOD for maintenance works to be undertaking by you to the cashier.
  • Submitting report on usage of funds requested after every maintenance work undertaken.
  • Assisting your HOD in the development of annual (or periodic) maintenance budget for the hospital.
  • Maintaining effective inventory and loss control program for the supplies, part tools, and equipment of the department.
  • Ensuring that the process and procedures for call-outs, maintenance and installations, as well as standard operating procedures are strictly adhered to.
  • Assisting and updating maintenance operating procedures and ensuring implementation.
  • Assist in capacity building initiatives in the department.
  • Handling companies equipment with utmost care and taking responsibility for keeping them in their best possible state at all times.
  • Ensuring the continuous effective reduction in the cost of repairs and maintenance of HSH equipment, through the strict compliance to manufacturers’ precautionary guidelines.
  • Keeping maintenance log book and reporting daily activities.
  • Participating in the periodic inspection of HSH facilities to identify and resolve issues.
  • Ensuring compliance of health and safety policies.
  • Doing all maintenance duties assigned to you with utmost mindfulness of departmental maintenance budget per month, and engaging such resources at your disposal to deliver optimum results.
  • Ensuring that the conference hall and any other meeting facility of the hospital always set up and that all their projecting facilities, public address systems, sockets, switches, appliances and gadgets are kept in good shape and ready for use at all times.
  • Developing, maintaining and improving quality standards.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Work experience: at least 1-2 years of professional experience.
  • Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Education requirements: Minimum of a diploma degree in Engineering or its equivalent.
  • Prior knowledge and experience in the medical field is an added advantage.
      Job Title: Dark Room Technician Location: Lagos Job Description
  • Responsible for developing and counting all exposed film to produce usable film and provide cost estimates.
  • Responsible for the maintenance of records for lab facilities.
  • Ensuring the production of quality photographic materials.
  • Responsible for the completion of all photographic orders and submit to printer.
  • Ensuring and maintaining clean equipment at all times.
  • Updates and reviews specifications and procedures to meet archival standards.
  • Maintenance of staff and patient’s confidentiality at all times as well as matters pertaining to the hospital.
  • Recognition of the importance of patients’ needs and services.
  • Ensuring the use of modern standards of clinical care.
  • Promoting a service-conscious environment.
  • Any other duties and responsibilities as required from time to time.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Must possess WASC/SSCE and must have successfully completed a three year training in a recognized institution for Darkroom Technician cadre.
  • Work experience: At least 1 year post-qualification experience and must be computer literate.
  • Must possess a current practicing license.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office Suite and use of photographic materials.
  • Wide practical experience in Radiological Medical Imaging and Medical Knowledge.
