Job Title: Technical Auditor

Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Slot: 2 Openings

Job Description

  • Evaluate the adequacy of effectiveness of internal Controls, accuracy of information reported and compliance with company policies and procedures in the technical operational areas of IBEDC       

Responsibilities

  • Technical audit and assessment of all on-going projects, engineering and maintenance activities, and HSE operations and identify deficiencies, operational problems and other areas for improvement in compliance to the established standards and procedures.
  • Review technical documents utilizing sound engineering concepts and technical expertise to improve service delivery and efficiency
  • Plan an efficient and effective audit approach by defining objectives and scope, preparing audit programs to meet those objectives.
  • Perform walkthroughs in order to understand current policies, procedures and practices followed, and perform controlled GAP analysis to recommend improvements.
  • Gathers audit report data, updates statistic spreadsheets and creates related audit result charts for presentation to management.
  • Analyses and recommends changes to improve internal controls and enhance business efficiency–designs and performs tests of internal control.
  • Establishes working relationships with company's staff to ensure cooperation during audit processes as may be directed from time to time by your Line Manager.
  • Applies standard audit tools and methodologies to perform routine internal audits (analytic reviews of business operations and processes) to ensure compliance with standard operating procedures, regulations and company policies.  
  • Assists in the preparation of audit reports, which record and summarize the audit observations in accordance with professional standard.

Requirements

  • Minimum Qualification: Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering, Accounts or equivalent
  • Required Experience: 1 - 3 years

Job Title: Information Technology Auditor

Location: Ibadan, Oyo

Job Description

  • Protect IBEDC against loss and inefficiencies by conducting audits on Information Technology systems to confirm procedural/statutory compliance. Responsible for analyzing and assessing technological infrastructure to ensure processes and systems run accurately and efficiently, while remaining secure and meeting compliance regulations.       

Responsibilities

  • Reviews information technology (operating systems, applications, database management systems, LAN/WAN communication concepts, telecommunication systems, and system development processes and Information Security frameworks) to confirm that they are in accordance with developed/standard processes and conform to agreed/standard policies and legislations.
  • Creates a risk profile for current and future projects with a focus on the company’s experience with those technologies and where it stands in the market
  • Examines current technology in the organization and future technologies that will need to be adopted
  • Verifying that systems that are being developed are suited for the organization and meet development standards
  • Identifying ineffective processes/inadequate internal controls and recommending improvements.
  • Developing, implementing, testing and evaluating audit review procedures.
  • Communicates with and educates process owners on the role of the audit team to ensure cooperation during the audit process.
  • Interprets the significance of audit findings, concludes on findings and makes practical recommendations to address non-compliance and improve internal control.
  • Assists in conducting special investigations of fraud/malpractices across the organisation

Requirements

Job Title: Lead, Learning & Development

Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Specialization: Training

Job Description

  • Develop the company’s training budget to ensure that the best quality of training and development is provided within the established budget for all IBEDC employees.       

Responsibilities

  • Develops the Annual Training Plan, Strategy, Calendar, and Budget for the Business.
  • Works with Divisional Chiefs and HODs to analyse departmental competency requirements as a contribution to develop annual training plans.
  • Conducts an organisation-wide skills assessment to identify skills gaps and training /learning development needs.
  • Collaborates with Divisional Chiefs and HODs to design training programs and curriculum, content, and schedules to implement in-house training.
  • Help managers develop their team members through career paths.
  • Communicates all training opportunities (internal and external) available to employees and clearly outlines requirements for participation.
  • Develops and manages the organisation’s training budget and manages expenditure.
  • Monitors all training, learning and performance coaching activities to ensure effective delivery and outcomes.
  • Manages the company's Learning Management System for effective deployment and management of e-learning, and distance learning programmes.  
  • Assess the success of development plans and help employees make the most of learning opportunities.
  • Oversee the maintenance of all necessary training and development records.
  • Responsible for the acquisition and maintenance of all training assets and equipment.
  • Conduct timely and economic assessment of training and development needs
  • Ensure timely and economic preparation and / procurement of delivery of training courses and schedules. Additionally, nominate employees for external training programs
  • Conduct surveys to measure the training effectiveness, the satisfaction of training participants with the training content, means of training delivery, etc.
  • Create, update & modify training policies of all classes of employees based on changing business scenarios, feedbacks from training participants, etc.

Job Description

  • Conduct analytical reviews of business operations and systems in accordance with local, national and federal audit requirements and standards to ensure compliance with best practice.
