About the Job

  • We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cost and Inventory Analyst to join our team.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing inventory levels, conducting cost analysis, forecasting future demand, preparing reports, and identifying areas for process improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze inventory levels and ensure optimal levels are maintained.
  • Conduct cost analysis and identify areas for cost reduction.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and work with other departments to implement changes.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure efficient and effective inventory management.
  • Forecast future demand for products and adjust inventory levels accordingly.
  • Prepare reports on inventory levels, cost analysis, and other key metrics.
  • Lead and perform regular physical count of inventories.

Qualifications

  • B.Sc or HND in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 2+ years proven experience relative to the role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of inventory management software is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
