Job Summary

  • We are seeking a skilled and experienced Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team in the oil and gas sector.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing construction projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and project specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct site assessments and surveys to identify project requirements and constraints.
  • Coordinate with regulatory agencies to secure necessary approvals and permits.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to project teams and stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and advancements in civil engineering for the oil and gas sector.
  • Develop detailed engineering designs, including site layouts, foundations, and structural elements, considering environmental and safety factors.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate civil engineering aspects into overall project plans.
  • Prepare project cost estimates and timelines, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints.
  • Oversee construction activities, ensuring quality control and compliance with design specifications.
  • Monitor and manage project progress, identifying and resolving issues to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. A Master’s Degree is a plus.
  • Effective communication skills for collaboration with internal teams, clients, and regulatory bodies.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements.
  • Strong problem-solving a nd decision-making abilities.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly desirable.
  • 7 years plus of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on oil and gas projects.
  • Strong proficiency in CAD software and other relevant engineering tools.
  • In-depth knowledge of industry standards, codes, and regulations.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
