Job Title: Chief of Staff

Location: Surulere, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports To: Founder/CEO of Majeurs Holdings

Position Overview

  • The Chief of Staff plays a critical and strategic role in aligning the organisation’s needs with the founder’s vision, ensuring seamless execution, and driving growth across various facets of the business. The role carries significant weight and importance.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Alignment:

  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives.
  • Foster collaboration across the Manufacturing, Tech, and Training Academy departments.
  • Serve as the right hand to the CEO, ensuring alignment with the strategic goals and visions.

Operational Efficiency:

  • Ensure execution across all departments.
  • Improve operational processes by analysing existing procedures, and driving efficiency and productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO standards and eco-friendly practices.

Communication Bridge:

  • Act as a liaison between the Founder/CEO and department managers.
  • Facilitate effective information flow to internal and external stakeholders.

Leadership & Team Management:

  • Supervise and mentor the managers of the various departments.
  • Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Play a part in growing the next generation of leaders through mentorship and leadership development.

Advisor and Decision Support:

  • Provide advisory support to the executive team.
  • Assist in decision-making by offering insights, analyses, and perspectives.

Project Management and Execution:

  • Oversee specific projects or initiatives within the company.
  • Manage timelines, resources, and outcomes.

Cultural Ambassador:

  • Shape and maintain the company’s culture, ensuring consistency across different levels of the organisation.

Miscellaneous:

  • Participate in budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and attending key industry events.

Qualifications
Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • A background in manufacturing or technology is preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 10 years of managerial experience, preferably in manufacturing, tech, or education sectors.

Skills:

  • Exceptional leadership and team-building abilities.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, technological integration, and educational initiatives.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
