Chef / Cook (Kitchen Assistant) at Abuja Guinea Fowl & Palm Wine Restaurant

Abuja Guinea Fowl and palm wine is renowned for its native roasted chicken (often called "Abuja guinea fowl" in local parlance), which is perfectly marinated, slow-roasted to golden-brown perfection, and served with a variety of tasty sides. The seasoning is what sets it apart a blend of locally sourced herbs and spices that give the chicken a smoky, flavorful depth that locals and visitors alike can’t get enough of.

In addition to the roasted chicken, the restaurant also offers local African foods such as jollof rice, pounded yam with egusi soup, fufu with vegetable soup, and suya (a spicy meat skewer) each dish prepared with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Whether you're in the mood for a hearty, satisfying meal or something a bit lighter, there’s something for everyone.
