Job Overview

• We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CCTV Installer/Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of CCTV systems to ensure the security and safety of our clients' premises.
• The CCTV Installer/Technician will work closely with clients, project managers, and other team members to deliver high-quality CCTV solutions.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain CCTV systems in accordance with project specifications.
• Communicate with clients to understand their specific requirements and expectations.
• Provide training to clients on the operation and maintenance of CCTV systems.
• Address client inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
• Maintain accurate records of all installations, configurations, and maintenance activities.
• Create detailed documentation for clients outlining system specifications and operating instructions.
• Mount and secure cameras, DVRs, NVRs, and other related equipment.
• Ensure proper routing and organization of cables for a clean and professional installation.
• Conduct thorough testing of CCTV systems to ensure functionality and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to cameras, recording devices, and network connectivity.
• Provide timely and effective solutions for identified problems.
• Perform regular maintenance checks on CCTV systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Update firmware and software as needed to address security vulnerabilities and enhance system capabilities.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a high school diploma or equivalent with 5-10 years experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to explain technical information to non-technical clients.
• Certification in CCTV installation and maintenance is a plus.
• Proven experience as a CCTV Installer/Technician.
• Familiarity with a variety of CCTV systems, cameras, and accessories.
• Proficient in the installation and configuration of CCTV systems.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts related to CCTV installations.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Salary
N150,000 - N300,000 / Month.
