 Job Description:
Support the annual Supply CAPEX Planning process attaining stretching targets to be translated in
year-on-year optimisation of CAPEX
• Drive capabilities and common ways of working (WOW) across Supply Finance and Supply community, included, but not limited, to SAP/BW effectiveness/optimisation along with Decision Support
• To drive the Legendary Business Partner agenda, supporting the development of the Supply Finance team and play a critical role in increasing finance awareness within supply partners
 
Dimensions:
• Market Complexity:
Ø Working closely with the supply team on CAPEX BPM (Business Performance Measurement) and Strategy along with Decision Support activities to action monitoring of all Capex spend.
• Leadership and Functional Responsibilities:
Ø Work closely with the Capex & Decision Support Manager to ensure the financial delivery of plans and address proactively opportunities along with mitigating risks
Key Accountabilities:
• Work closely with the Capex & Decision Support Manager to address the Supply/ CAPEX BPM (Business Performance Measurement) agenda within Guinness Nigeria- providing concise, quality management information on key business drivers
• Provide insightful supply/commercial analysis of business performance, issues and opportunities.
• Responsible for the timely and accurate production of a monthly CAPEX BPM (Business Performance Measurement) pack, CAPEX Risks & Opportunities (R&O) and CAPEX strategic plan packs which guarantee full integrity of Guinness Nigeria financials
• Act as a true finance business partner to the supply function by providing value-added analysis
• Develop a culture of data accuracy and integrity across Supply
• Provide input to the Project CEAR (Capital Expenditure Approval request), support approvals in PROMPT and prepare the PCR (Post Completion Review)
• Drive compliance to all relevant controls on Supply Projects


Skill, Qualifications and Experience Required:
• Graduate calibre in a Finance related discipline in addition to a professional accounting qualification ( ACCA/ICAN)
• Minimum of 5 years’ post qualification relevant work experience with proven integrity
• Extensive experience using SAP/BW along with advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge for modelling and reporting.
• Excellent analytical , problem solving skills along with project management skills is required
• Demonstrable experience of establishing credibility, influencing and working at senior management levels along with self-starter, high commitment, delivering against goals with minimal supervision
• Ability to effectively influence through peers / senior management and to manage different stakeholders in order to execute flawless --- a master of execution.

Barrier to Success in Role:

• Lack of advanced SAP/BW knowledge along with advanced excel expertise
• Inability to effectively influence key stakeholders across the business
• Inability to effectively build and manage relationships with colleagues across key stakeholder functions
• Lack of pro-activity and/or initiative to drive projects to completion
