Overview

• We are seeking a highly skilled web developer, specialized in C# .NET for web development, to join our team.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications using the C# programming language and the .NET framework, with your role encompassing various tasks throughout the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand software requirements, ensuring a clear understanding of the project's goals and functionalities.
• Create architectural and technical designs for software solutions, including defining the overall structure, components, and interactions between different modules.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in C# using best practices. Implement features, functionality, and user interfaces according to design specifications.
• Develop various types of applications, including desktop, web, mobile, and cloud-based applications, using the appropriate .NET technologies and frameworks.
• Design and implement database schemas, interact with databases (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL) using technologies like Entity Framework, and manage data storage and retrieval.
• Write unit tests, integration tests, and perform debugging to identify and fix software defects and issues. Ensure the application functions as intended and meets quality standards.
• Optimize the application's performance by identifying bottlenecks and improving code efficiency. Implement caching mechanisms and other techniques to enhance speed and responsiveness.
• Implement security measures to protect the application from threats and vulnerabilities. This includes input validation, authentication, authorization, and data encryption.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for deployed applications, addressing user-reported issues, applying updates, and implementing new features as required.

Qualifications
The summary of skillsets required for this role includes:

• C# (Webapp, desktop app), services, libraries, REST, APIs, jQuery
• Testing (Unit, Integration, Load & Automated) & Documentation (Software Processes etc) - utilizing tools such as Selenium, Jmeter, etc.
• O/RMs (Object Relational Mapper, Entity Framework)
• Javascript, HTML 5, CSS, C#, .NET
• MSSQL
• MVC Framework knowledge, PHP + MySQL Stack, Jquery & Javascript Framework, Object Oriented Programming.
