Job Title: Business Development Executive
Location: Lagos
Job Description
- You will focus on the creation and execution of cutting edge commercial solutions toward achieving the strategic objectives of the GIG Group.
Key Responsibilities
- Contributes to the identification, development, and implementation of business strategies for the Group and its subsidiaries
- Contributes to the development and monitoring of profitability, productivity, and growth targets of the GIG Group and its subsidiaries
- Prepares proposals/presentations, recommend financial and non-financial strategic objectives and alternatives, and implement and maintain strategic and operational plans.
- Oversee the successful management of corporate-wide projects to budget and time limits
- Engages actively in strategic relationships with consulting firms, banks, government and other stakeholders.
- Track industry events and activities and monitor the performance of competitors, suppliers and other services.
- Execute special projects as needed and manages the process of generating, selling and on boarding new projects.
- Assist in the design of products/ services in line with GIG Group’s strategic growth plan and monitor the performance of products/ service life cycles.
- Assist in the coordination of business reviews, resource allocations, organization structures, and financial analysis.
- Contributes to the identification of new opportunities and markets for the GIG Group and its subsidiaries
- Works with team to perform qualitative and quantitative data analysis, synthesize results and communicate understandable and actionable recommendations
- Work with relevant stakeholders to understand or develop value propositions that improve profitability.
- Develop client proposals and make presentation as required
- Evaluate emerging industry trends and advice management for necessary actions
- Provide weekly/monthly/quarterly reports on business performance in order to optimize opportunities, outputs and revenue.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree qualification
- Demonstrated problem solving abilities, especially complex, ambiguous problems requiring integrated application of skills (e.g., finance, marketing, strategy, operations)
- Ability to conceptualize and design business plans
- Understanding of financial modelling techniques
- Willingness to travel when required
- Minimum of 5 years Business strategy/Business Development experience
- Ability to use B.I and reporting tools
- Ability to develop content and deliver impressive presentations.
