Position Overview

  • Seeking a skilled Business Development Consultant to drive growth in Nigeria's oil and gas sector.
  • The role involves identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and contributing to strategic planning and execution.

Responsibilities

  • Market Analysis & Strategy: Conduct market research, develop strategic plans, analyze competitive landscape.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with clients, government bodies, and industry partners.
  • Project Oversight: Oversee project execution, collaborate with internal teams for seamless delivery.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor and report on business development initiatives and market conditions.
  • Business Acquisition: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, prepare proposals and bids.
  • Partnerships & Alliances: Establish and negotiate business agreements and contracts.

Requirements
Education & Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business / Engineering / Economics, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Experience:12 plus years in business development in the oil and gas industry, with a focus on Nigeria.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in CRM software, project management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the oil and gas sector in Nigeria.
  • Project Management: Proficient in managing multiple projects.
  • Business Acumen: Strong commercial awareness and business insight.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret market data and trends.
