Job Title: Business Developer

Location: Awoyaya / Ajah, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Reporting line: Business Manager

Job Summary

  • The Business Developer is responsible for driving the growth and expansion of the company by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, expand market presence for all Orikplus products and services, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and developing strategic partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, including market expansion and new customer acquisition.
  • Develop and implement business development strategies and plans.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of business development initiatives and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior management on growth opportunities and market expansion.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.
  • Prepare regular reports on business development activities and outcomes.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including potential customers, partners, and distributors.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop proposals, presentations, and sales pitches.
  • Negotiate contracts, agreements, and partnerships with new and existing clients.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in business development, sales, or a related field, preferably in the manufacturing or FMCG sector.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of business development processes and strategies.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. o Ability to conduct thorough market research and analysis.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and sales analytics tools.

Salary
N150,000 Monthly.
