Job Title: Assistant Warehouse Manager

Location: Kano
Job type: Full-time

About the Role

  • BURN is looking for an Assistant Warehouse Manager who will be involved in supporting the overall operations of the Kano warehouse under the guidance of the Warehouse Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist the Warehouse Manager to oversee all warehouse operations.
  • Ensure processes and procedures are compliant with the company and legal guidelines.
  • Manage inventory control levels between warehouse and units by consistently conducting physical counts.
  • Ensure that warehouse equipment is always in good condition through inspection and adherence to maintenance schedules.
  • Encourage teamwork within the workforce to ensure set productivity targets are met.

Skills and Experience

  • A Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university.
  • Good knowledge of English and Hausa
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • 3 Years of Management experience in a Manufacturing/ FMCG Warehouse.
  • Experience with ERP Systems.
  • Experience with MS Office Applications especially MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
  • Team Management experience
  • Good communication skills.
