In view of the company expansion growth and development, we are recruiting to fill the positions below:

 

Job Title: Assistant Production Manager

Location: Sango Ota, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time

Duties / Responsibilities

  • Oversee the production process of aluminum ingots, ensuring operational excellence
  • Implement and monitor quality control measures to meet business standards.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize production equipment and processes.
  • Manage and develop production staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Maintain zero tolerance around safety ensuring that all team members are following safety procedures including the proper use of safety gear at all times.
  • Participate in production meetings and maintain continuous communication with the production team.
  • Responsible for planning and preparing for shift transition to ensure seamless transition between shifts including clean up, materials stacking and reporting.
  • Train team members on operations of machines and educate team members on general aluminum ingot production knowledge and best practices.
  • Responsible for product quality, team member safety, and on-time quality product production across all shifts.
  • Responsible to ensure that all procedures and policies are dully followed and any breakdown in machineries are corrected and reported.

Required Skills / Abilities

  • OND, HND in Metallurgy, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5 - 7 years of experience in a production operation in metal recycling business.
  • Proven track record in improving production processes and quality control.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • At least five years of leadership experience working in a factory environment.
