Job Title: Assistant Inventory Supervisor

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies promptly.
  • Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of inventory management processes.
  • Assist in training new staff on inventory procedures.
  • Assist in managing and maintaining accurate inventory records.
  • Ensure a high level of accuracy in tracking and recording inventory movements.
  • Collaborate with the inventory team to optimize stock levels and minimize shortages.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and other departments.
  • Implement and uphold strict procedures to address missing items.
  • Utilize problem-solving skills to identify and resolve inventory issues.

Qualifications

  • Minimum educational requirement: OND (Ordinary National Diploma) in a relevant field.
  • Ability to enforce strict measures for accountability and responsibility.
  • Problem-solving mindset and the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Proficient in using inventory management software.
  • Proven experience in inventory management or a related field.
  • Strong mathematical skills and proficiency in counting accurately.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Mature communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels.
  • Demonstrated honesty and integrity in handling inventory responsibilities.
