Michael Stevens Consulting - Our client, a leading beverage company and the pioneer of PET bottled Carbonated Soft Drinks in Nigeria. They manufacture, market and presently distribute seven products in Nigeria and other parts of West Africa.

Job Description

  • They are currently looking to recruit an Area Sales Manager for their Aba and Onitsha branches.
  • The ideal candidates should be working in the Eastern region as a sales executive and should be able to speak Igbo fluently.
Job Responsibilities
  • Deliver the monthly sales targets
  • Provide weekly/monthly sales forecasts for the assigned territory
  • Identify, create and execute opportunities to increase sell-in to dealers and sell-out to/from retailers
  • Co-ordinate with the Logistics/ Warehouse team to ensure that goods are delivered within 24hours
  • Achieve product availability in wholesale and retail outlets at the same level of beverage competitors
  • Monitor activities of beverage competitors(trade and consumer pricing, promo schemes, new products etc)
  • Monitor key dealers’ turnover and stocks on a weekly basis and ensure that our SKUs are available and that the dealers reach their targets
  • Execute the sales and marketing plan for the territory as agreed with the Regional Sales Manager
Job Requirements
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years Sales experience in the beverage industry or Fast Moving Consumer goods
