Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and experienced Architect to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing the construction of various structures, including residential homes and commercial buildings.
The Architect will collaborate closely with clients, engineers, and construction teams to ensure projects are completed to the highest standards, on time, and within budget.

Responsibilities

Develop architectural designs and drawings that meet client needs and comply with building codes and regulations.
Create detailed architectural plans, including floor plans, elevations, and sections.
Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to integrate structural, mechanical, and electrical systems into architectural designs.
Prepare and present design proposals to clients, including 3D models and renderings.
Provide technical guidance and support to construction teams during the building process.
Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress, address issues, and ensure compliance with design specifications.
Keen eye for finishes and materials selection.
Ability to develop and maintain site work sequences and schedules.
Excellent record-keeping skills to track project progress and changes.
Effective supervision of workmen to ensure quality and adherence to design specifications.
Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements, preferences, and budget constraints.
Review and approve materials, finishes, and construction methods to maintain quality and consistency.
Proficiency in building design, including conceptualization and development of architectural plans.
Strong ability to create presentation drawings and working drawings with attention to detail.
Extensive site and construction experience, including knowledge of construction management practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
Proven experience as an Architect, with a portfolio showcasing successful projects.
Proficiency in architectural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar.
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering innovative and functional designs.
Registration or licensure as an Architect is an added advantage.
Strong understanding of building codes, zoning regulations, and construction processes.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and multidisciplinary teams.

Salary
N150,000 - N200,000 / month.
