We are recruiting to fill the position below:

 

Job Title: Administrative Officer

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • The administrative officer would be for responsible for day-to-day task management within the organization. This role requires multitasking across a range of responsibilities, including scheduling activities, receiving and forwarding communications, and taking care of more general administrative duties.

Responsibilities

  • Organizing and managing schedules and calendars for staff, managers, and senior-level officers
  • Assist the technical department in their functions.
  • Receiving and processing communication, including emails, phones, and physically.
  • Assisting human resources department with payroll and personnel databases
  • Creating reports for managers and senior-level officers as needed
  • Offer assistance in organizing events, including ordering materials and requisitioning event spaces
  • Ensuring compliance with regulations
  • Providing support to management
  • Managing financial and budgetary matters
  • Conferring with accounting department to help make payments, process incoming invoices, and verify receipts
  • Ensure functionality of necessary office equipments, and requisitioning new equipments and supplies as needed
  • Attend meetings and record notes and messages for managers and senior-level officers. E.t.c.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • A Degree or HND in Business Administration, Public Administration or any related field.
  • Profound Knowledge in telecommunications or IT is required.
  • Must be able to work with little or no supervision and achieve high level productivity.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • Must be able to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
  • Detail-oriented, with the ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
  • Skillful in communicating effectively with staff members, senior management and external stakeholders.
  • Notable organizational skills and the ability to provide organization and structure
  • Comfortable working independently when needed, or as part of a team
  • Must be able to adapt to changing priorities, procedures and demands of the work environment.
  • Ability to identify issues and provide creative solutions
  • Years of experience: 3-5 years
