Job Title: Administrative Manager

Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • This role plays a crucial role in managing financial data, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing insights into the financial health of our organization.
  • Maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other financial documents.
  • Analyze financial statements to identify trends, variances, and discrepancies.
  • Prepare and file tax returns, including corporate income tax, payroll tax, and sales tax.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
  • Manage accounts payable and ensure timely payment of invoices.
  • Record financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting standards.
  • Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and other financial reports.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee accounts receivable, including invoicing clients and following up on overdue payments.
  • Assist in the development of budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Monitor actual financial performance against budgeted figures and report on variances.
  • Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
  • Participate in internal and external audits as required.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to management based on financial data.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide financial information and support business operations.
  • Communicate financial information to stakeholders, including management, auditors, and regulatory authorities.
  • Use accounting software and other financial tools to manage financial data efficiently.
  • Track and analyze costs to support pricing decisions and cost control.
  • Conduct cost-benefit analyses and identify areas for cost reduction.
  • Process payroll, including calculating wages, taxes, and other deductions.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  • Stay updated on accounting standards, financial regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Ensure that all financial activities comply with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Conduct financial analysis to support business decisions and strategic planning.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies in accounting and finance.

Salary
N200,000 - N250,000 / month.
