Job Title: Accounting Supervisor

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Descriptions

  • Good Knowledge on financial system and Advance related
  • Liaise with clients on purchase related and provide financial information and advice
  • Knowledge on foreign transactions which includes foreign transactions and foreign receivables
  • Liaise with clients and provide financial information and advice
  • Purchase invoice posting Report -Local & Import
  • Landing Cost Voucher and reports
  • Approval of Material Request
  • Prepare an expense budget report and Expense approval
  • Verifying VAT, WHT, PAYE, Pension schedules, Pension Payment and Approval
  • Reports and Account Finalization
  • Accrued Payment/prepayment/ Employee Loans & Settlement Cost Control: Cash flow, Cost Control, P&L, company health, Project job status
  • Creditors payable report, Advice clients on business transactions, such as mergers and acquisitions
  • Carry out banking operations and bank reconciliations
  • Prepare daily financial reports and information including financial statements
  • Prepare Domiciliary Account Limit Report including monthly and annual accounts.
  • Arrange financial management reports, including financial planning and forecasting
  • Verification, posting, loading of Payroll

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures and principles
  • Awareness of business trends
  • Experience with creating financial statements
  • Excellent accounting software user and administration skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Registration with accredited statutory body and association.
  • Must be a Chartered Accountant
  • Good knowledge on ERP usage
  • Experience in providing financial advice.
