Job Title: Account Officer

Job Summary

• We are currently seeking a highly skilled accountant to join our diverse and dynamic team. If you are a detail-oriented accounting professional proficient with accounting systems, possess strong analytical skills, and have a passion for numbers, this opportunity is for you!

Responsibilities

• Recording day-to-day financial transactions and posting to relevant books of accounts
• Verifying that transactions are recorded in the correct sales and expenses day book
• Extracting relevant accounts and preparing a periodic trial balance
• Monitoring financial transactions and preparing performance reports
• Processing accounts receivable, payable, and inventory management
• Performing reconciliation of cash and bank transactions
• Computing relevant taxes and liaising with consultants and auditors.
• Manage all accounting transactions.
• Prepare and analyze various reports to provide key insights and recommendations to management.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and reporting requirements.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve financial processes and efficiency.
• Stay updated with industry trends, accounting regulations, and best practices.

Key Requirements

• Minimum academic qualification of a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting,or a related field.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Minimum of 2 years of proven work experience as an Accountant in a similar financial role.
• Proficiency in using collaboration and productivity tools (Teams, Gmail, etc.)
• Proficiency with Accounting packages preferably Quickbooks
• Solid knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
• Proficiency in financial management software and MS Office Suite.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Remuneration

• N100,000 - N170,000 monthly Gross (Negotiable).
