Job Title: Account Assistant

Location: Lagos

Job Description

• Filing of vouchers regularly.
• Computation of monthly payroll.
• Computation of weekly sales analysis
• Posting of bank payments regularly.
• Monthly update of the non-current asset register.
• Monthly schedule of all ledger balances in the statement of financial position and income statement..
• Implementation of internal control system regularly.
• Monthly income statement.
• Monthly statement of financial position.
• Weekly reports.
• Posting of daily imprest analysis book.
• Administration of daily petty cash for operations.
• Monthly posting of general ledgers.
• Monthly bank reconciliation statements.

Qualifications / Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• A professional certification such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) is highly desirable.
• 2 - 4 years relevant work experience.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and build relationships across departments.
• Proficiency in using accounting software and financial management systems.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to mentor and develop junior team members.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
• Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in anadvertising agency.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Outstanding attention to detail, with a focus on maintaining data integrity.
• Solid understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance in financial reporting.

Salary
N150,000 - N200,000 Monthly.
