Job Title: Academic Lecturer (Foundation Programme)

  • The TAG Foundation Pathway Program is designed to cater to the requirements of students by providing a comprehensive selection of specializations, including Computer Science, Business Studies, Law, and Politics and International Relations, all approved by Lancaster University, UK. Our continuously growing portfolio enables students to gain direct admission to Lancaster University's undergraduate programs, as well as universities globally.
  • We are actively looking to hire dedicated, passionate, and self-driven academics who are committed to excellence for full-time Lecturer positions in Foundation modules.

Responsibilities 
Successful candidate(s) will be responsible for the following duties and responsibilities:

  • To contribute to the teaching commitments of the Foundation Programme by carrying out:
  • To contribute to the Foundation Programme’s academic and pastoral care of its students and to the enhancement of their learning, personal development, and achievement.
  • To develop and maintain links with relevant professional bodies and academic groupings.
  • To contribute to the development of the interface with external organizations.
  • Provide cover for colleagues on leave where necessary.
  • Assume various administrative tasks and responsibilities as requested by the provost and/or Head of the University.
  • Teaching, examining, and administrative duties on the program as required.
  • Contribute to the curriculum development and the design of individual courses offered within the foundation program.
  • Identify the learning needs of students, plan and design the development of learning objectives, and develop teaching materials, methods, and approaches.
  • Design, synthesize, create, and deliver high-quality program contributions across a range of settings including lecturing, small-group tutorials, practical laboratory classes, and design project activities.
  • To engage in scholarly activity in the Foundation Programme.
  • To contribute regularly to the foundation program’s workshops, field trips, project work, discussion groups, and collaborative research groups.
  • Undertake other duties as required.

Relevant MPhil. / MSc. in modules taught at the Foundation Programme specifically Computer Science, Mathematics, Law, Business Studies and English Language, Politics & International Relations

Salary
N300,000 - N500,000 monthly.
