QUALIFICATIONS
Professor: Candidates for the posts of Professor must be Ph.D holders and distinguished scholars with at least 12 years post PhD teaching and research experience at University level with continuous productive activity to the status of an acknowledged authority in the area of specialization. Postgraduate Supervision of Masters or Ph. D with some administrative experience and evidence of requisite publications in reputable/referred journals.

Reader: Candidates for the posts of Reader must be Ph.D holders and distinguished scholars with at least 9 years post PhD teaching and research experience at University level with continuous productive activity to the status of an acknowledged authority in the area of specialization. Postgraduate Supervision of Masters or Ph. D with some administrative experience and evidence of requisite publications in reputable/referred journals.

Senior Lecturer: Candidates must be Ph.D holders with at least 6 years post PhD teaching and research experience at University level and evidence of requisite publications in reputable/referred journals.
 
Lecturer I: Candidates must be Ph.D holders with at least 9 years teaching and research experience at University level and evidence of at least three publications in reputable/referred journals.
 
Lecturer II: Candidates must possess a PhD or Masters degree in the relevant field and at least 6 years of teaching and research experience. Evidence of publications in reputable referred journals will be of additional advantage.
